Name: Oxford U952P PR2 Driver
Author: Oxford

Question 1

Install fails or is blocked by Windows?

Accepted Answer

The Oxford U952P PR2 parallel-port driver may be unsigned or incompatible with your Windows build. Use the correct 32/64-bit package, run the installer as administrator, and disable driver signature enforcement only temporarily if required.

Question 2

Card not detected / no LPT port appears?

Accepted Answer

Reseat the card, try another PCI/PCIe slot, and check BIOS for parallel-port or legacy I/O support. In Device Manager, check “Ports (COM & LPT)” and “Other devices”; if an unknown PCI device appears, install the Oxford driver manually via Update Driver > Browse.

Question 3

Version or resource conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Remove older Oxford/parallel-port drivers and ghost LPT ports first. If the port address/IRQ conflicts, set the card to a free LPT address in Device Manager or BIOS and reboot before reinstalling.
