Question 1

Driver install fails?

Accepted Answer

The Q51 5 uses a monitor INF/ICM package, not a graphics driver. In Device Manager, right-click the monitor, choose Update driver > Browse my computer > Let me pick > Have Disk, then select the correct `.inf` for your Windows version and architecture.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Check the VGA/DVI cable, monitor power, and input source. Try another video port or cable, then use Action > Scan for hardware changes. If it appears as Generic PnP Monitor, update the monitor driver manually.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall old Optiquest monitor entries in Device Manager, tick Delete the driver software, reboot, and install only the Q51 5 package matching your Windows build. Avoid third-party driver updaters.
