Question 1

Driver install fails (Code 10/28/52 or unsigned driver)?

Accepted Answer

Run the installer as administrator and use the manufacturer’s OMAP4430 FastBoot driver matching your Windows version. If Windows blocks it, temporarily disable driver signature enforcement, install, then re-enable it.

Question 2

Device not detected in FastBoot mode?

Accepted Answer

Confirm the device is actually in FastBoot/bootloader mode, use a data-capable USB cable, and connect to a direct USB 2.0 port—not a hub. In Device Manager, look for “OMAP4430 FastBoot USB device” with a warning icon; update/reinstall the driver manually via “Update driver > Browse.”

Question 3

Version conflicts with older OMAP/ADB/Fastboot drivers?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall existing OMAP4430, Android Bootloader Interface, ADB, and Fastboot drivers, including hidden devices. Reboot, then install only the manufacturer’s current driver before reconnecting the device.
