Name: Olympus WS 210S Driver
Author: Olympus

Question 1

Install fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Run the Olympus driver/software installer as administrator, close other audio apps, and connect the WS-210S only when prompted. Use the correct 32/64-bit package for your Windows version.

Question 2

Recorder not detected?

Accepted Answer

Try a direct rear USB port and a known data cable (not charge-only). Confirm the WS-210S is in USB storage/PC mode, then check Device Manager for an unknown USB device and reinstall the USB mass-storage driver.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older Olympus recorder software and any previous Olympus USB driver, reboot, then install the latest package. If Windows shows the WS-210S as a removable drive, no extra driver is needed for file transfer.
