Author: Olivetti

Question 1

Install fails on Windows 10/11?

Accepted Answer

Run the Olivetti 300S F setup as administrator; if it still fails, use Windows 7/8 compatibility mode, remove older Olivetti printer entries, restart the Print Spooler, then retry.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Check the USB/parallel cable and port, power-cycle the Olivetti 300S F, and look in Device Manager for an unknown device. If present, update the driver manually using “Have Disk” and the downloaded INF.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall any existing Olivetti 300S F driver/queue, delete unused ports, and install only the package matching your Windows version and bitness. Do not mix generic fax/printer drivers with the Olivetti package.
