Name: Okidata C7300 Driver
Author: Okidata

Question 1

Install fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Run the Okidata C7300 installer as administrator, disconnect the printer until prompted, and remove any stale C7300 print queues/driver packages in Print Management before reinstalling the correct 32/64-bit package.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Check the USB/parallel/network cable and power-cycle the C7300. Restart the Print Spooler service; for network models, add the printer using a TCP/IP port instead of auto-detect.

Question 3

Driver version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Windows may fall back to a generic PostScript/OKI driver. Delete the old C7300 queue and driver package, restart the spooler, install the current Okidata package, and set it as the default printer.
