Name: Okidata C6100n Driver
Author: Okidata

Question 1

Install fails on newer Windows?

Accepted Answer

The C6100n uses legacy drivers; run the Okidata installer as administrator in compatibility mode, or add the printer manually with the correct 32/64-bit C6100 PCL driver.

Question 2

Printer not detected?

Accepted Answer

For network models, confirm link lights, ping the printer’s static IP, and create a TCP/IP port using that address. For USB, connect directly to the PC, not a hub.

Question 3

Driver version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Remove old Okidata C6100 queues and driver packages in Print Management, restart the Print Spooler, then reinstall one clean driver version.
