Name: Okidata C5650n Driver
Author: Okidata

Question 1

Install fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect the Okidata C5650n, remove any old printer driver via Print Management or Programs and Features, reboot, then run the correct 32/64-bit package as administrator.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

For USB, use a direct rear port and a known-good cable, not a hub. For network, confirm the printer IP, same subnet, and that port 9100 is reachable; set a static IP if needed.

Question 3

Version conflicts or duplicate queues?

Accepted Answer

In Print Management, delete old C5650n queues and driver packages, restart the Print Spooler, then reinstall the latest Okidata driver. Avoid mixing PCL and PostScript drivers unless required.
