Question 1

Install fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect USB, remove any existing Okidata C5200n printer entries, run the installer as administrator, then reboot before reconnecting. For network use, confirm the printer’s TCP/IP port is reachable.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Use a known-good USB cable directly to the PC—not a hub—and power-cycle the C5200n. For network setup, verify the printer IP and that it is on the same subnet as the PC.

Question 3

Driver/version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older Okidata C5200n drivers, delete leftover print queues and ports, then install the correct 32/64-bit package. Avoid the generic Windows PostScript driver if color and status features are required.
