Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect the USB cable, run the OKI installer as administrator, and remove any existing “OKI MC562(PCL)” entries in Printers & scanners and Print Management before retrying.

Device not detected?

Driver version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall other Okidata MC562/PCL or PS driver packages, clear leftover drivers via Print Management or `pnputil`, reboot, then install the correct Windows x86/x64 PCL package.
