Question 1

Install fails or setup cannot find the printer?

Accepted Answer

Run the OKI B430(PCL) installer as administrator, disconnect and reconnect the USB cable, and remove any older OKI B430 driver entries before reinstalling. Confirm you downloaded the correct PCL package for your Windows version and architecture.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Check that the printer is powered on and connected to a working USB port, or verify the network IP address. If automatic detection fails, use Add Printer > Local/Network printer and select the OKI B430 PCL driver manually.

Question 3

Driver version conflicts or stuck print jobs?

Accepted Answer

Clear the print queue, restart the Print Spooler service, then remove duplicate OKI B430 entries in Print Management. Reinstall the latest PCL driver and avoid mixing PostScript and PCL drivers for the same queue.
