Question 1

Install fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Run the Oce setup as administrator and confirm you are installing the PS T1 driver, not a PCL or universal PostScript driver. If Windows blocks it, extract the package and update the driver manually via Device Manager.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

The im3512 may not appear over WSD/SNMP. Add it manually with a Standard TCP/IP port using the printer’s IP address, then select the Oce im3512 PS T1 driver.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Old Oce im3512 queues or PCL/PS drivers can override the new PS T1 driver. Remove all existing im3512 queues and drivers in Print Management, restart the Print Spooler service, then reinstall.
