Question 1

Installation fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Remove any existing Oce cm3120 or generic printer queues, restart the Print Spooler service, then run the installer as administrator. Disconnect and reconnect the USB/network cable during setup if prompted.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

For USB, try a different port/cable and avoid hubs. For network, confirm the cm3120 has a valid IP address on the same subnet and add it by IP using a Standard TCP/IP port (9100 or LPR).

Question 3

Driver version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall duplicate WSD, Universal Print, or older Oce queues before installing the current cm3120 package. After installation, set the correct queue as default and remove leftover drivers in Print Management.
