Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Stop the Print Spooler service, remove any partial Oce 3275 plotter entries from Printers & scanners, then rerun the installer as administrator. Disconnect the device during setup if prompted.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Confirm the Oce 3275 is on the same network/subnet, or try a known-good USB cable/port. For network use, assign a static IP and add the printer manually by IP; check Windows Firewall isn’t blocking the Oce port monitor.

Question 3

Version conflicts or duplicate queues?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older Oce 3275/750 PS drivers and delete stale queues before installing the HC driver. Set the new queue as default, restart the spooler, and avoid mixing PCL/PS drivers on the same port.
