Question 1

Install fails or hangs?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect the NS7 II before running the 2.9.55 installer. Run it as administrator, reboot, then connect the controller.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Avoid USB hubs; use a rear USB 2.0 port and a known-good cable. Check Device Manager for an unknown device, then reinstall the Numark driver.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older Numark/MIDI driver packages and duplicate NS7 II entries first, reboot, then install 2.9.55 only. Do not install over an existing driver.
