Name: Nostromo n45 USB Dual Analog Gamepad Driver
Author: Belkin

Question 1

Install fails on Windows 10/11?

Accepted Answer

The Belkin setup may be unsigned or 32-bit. Run it as administrator in Windows 7 compatibility mode; if blocked, install the INF manually via Device Manager > Update driver > Browse, or temporarily disable driver signature enforcement.

Question 2

Gamepad not detected?

Accepted Answer

Connect directly to a rear USB 2.0 port, not an unpowered hub. In Device Manager, remove unknown/HID entries, rescan, and test with `joy.cpl`. Try a different USB cable if no enumeration appears.

Question 3

Version conflicts/old software?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall previous Belkin Nostromo/n45 and Razer Nostromo utilities before installing. Remove hidden devices, reboot, then reinstall only the n45 package; avoid mixing 32-bit and 64-bit driver files.
