Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect the Nokia phone, uninstall older Nokia PC Suite/Ovi Suite and any existing OBEX entries in Device Manager, then run the installer as administrator with Bluetooth enabled.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Make sure Bluetooth is on, the Nokia phone is visible, and OBEX/file transfer is enabled. Pair it from Windows, restart the Bluetooth Support Service, and check Device Manager for an unknown Bluetooth peripheral.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Remove duplicate Nokia/OBEX drivers and conflicting PC Suite versions before installing. Reboot after uninstall, then install the matching package; use Windows compatibility mode only if the installer still fails.
