Question 1

Install fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Legacy Nokia PC Suite/Ovi Suite drivers may be blocked on Windows 10/11. Run the installer as administrator in Windows 7 compatibility mode, uninstall older Nokia suites first, reboot, then reconnect the C3-00.

Question 2

Phone not detected?

Accepted Answer

Set the C3-00 USB mode to “PC Suite,” not “Charging only.” Use the original CA-101 cable and a rear USB 2.0 port; avoid hubs. Check Device Manager for an unknown Nokia USB device.

Question 3

Version/driver conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Remove old Nokia USB/connectivity drivers and duplicate Device Manager entries, reboot, and install only one suite version. For file transfer only, use Mass Storage mode instead of PC Suite.
