Name: Nokia C1 01 USB Device Driver
Author: Nokia

Question 1

Install fails (Code 10/28)?

Accepted Answer

Older Nokia C1-01 USB drivers are often unsigned or incompatible with modern Windows. Run the installer as administrator, try compatibility mode, or manually update the driver via Device Manager using the extracted `.inf` file.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Confirm the phone is set to PC Suite/Nokia mode, not charging-only, and unlock the keypad. Try a known-good cable/port, then reinstall Nokia PC Suite/Ovi Suite and rescan in Device Manager.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Remove old Nokia USB/Modem drivers first: Device Manager > Show hidden devices > uninstall the C1-01 device and delete its driver software. Install only one compatible Nokia suite/driver package, then reboot.
