Question 1

Driver install fails on Windows 10/11?

Accepted Answer

The Nokia 301 Dual SIM’s older USB driver may be blocked by compatibility or signature checks. Run the installer as administrator in Windows 7 compatibility mode; if it still fails, temporarily disable driver signature enforcement, install, then re-enable it.

Question 2

Phone not detected?

Accepted Answer

Use the original Nokia USB cable and a rear motherboard port. On the 301, choose “Nokia Suite/PC Suite” USB mode when prompted, then check Device Manager for an unknown Nokia 301 Dual SIM or serial/modem device and update it manually to the Nokia USB driver.

Question 3

Version conflicts with Nokia Suite/PC Suite?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older Nokia PC Suite/OVI Suite and existing Nokia USB drivers first, reboot, remove hidden modem/serial entries in Device Manager, then install one compatible driver version only.
