Author: Nokia

Question 1

Install fails on Windows 10/11?

Accepted Answer

The Nokia 2710c 2 driver package is old and may be blocked as unsigned. Run the installer as administrator in Windows 7 compatibility mode; if it still fails, temporarily disable driver signature enforcement, install, then re-enable it.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Set the phone’s USB mode to PC Suite/Ovi Suite, use a data-capable cable, and connect directly to a rear USB port. In Device Manager, check for an unknown Nokia USB device and manually point it to the extracted Nokia driver.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older Nokia PC Suite/Ovi Suite and Connectivity Cable Driver entries, remove hidden Nokia USB devices, reboot, then install only one compatible suite/driver for the 2710c 2.
