Name: Nikon Coolpix L330 Driver
Author: Nikon

Question 1

Camera not detected?

Accepted Answer

Use a known-good USB cable and a rear motherboard port, not a hub. Turn the Coolpix L330 on, then set its USB option to Mass Storage for Windows Explorer or MTP/PTP for Nikon software.

Question 2

Driver install fails?

Accepted Answer

Do not force an old Nikon driver; Windows normally uses the built-in USB Mass Storage/MTP driver. Run any installer as administrator, close Nikon Transfer/ViewNX, and temporarily disable antivirus.

Question 3

Version conflicts or yellow warning?

Accepted Answer

In Device Manager, uninstall the old camera/USB device (enable Show hidden devices), disconnect, reboot, and reconnect so Windows reinstalls the correct driver. Update Windows and Nikon software before retrying.
