Name: Netopia TER GUSB E Driver
Author: Netopia

Question 1

Install fails or is blocked?

Accepted Answer

The Netopia TER GUSB E package is legacy and may be unsigned. Run setup as Administrator, try Windows XP/2000 compatibility mode, or temporarily disable driver signature enforcement, then reboot and retry.

Question 2

Adapter not detected?

Accepted Answer

Check Device Manager for an Unknown Device or Network Adapter. Plug the USB Ethernet adapter directly into a rear USB 2.0 port—no hub—reseat the cable, and install current motherboard USB/chipset drivers.

Question 3

Driver version conflict?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall any older Netopia or generic USB Ethernet driver, remove the device in Device Manager, reboot, then install only the matching TER GUSB E package. Prevent Windows Update from replacing it automatically.
