Name: NEC Electronics USB 3.0 Root Hub Driver
Author: NEC

Question 1

Install fails or “driver not found”?

Accepted Answer

Download the correct x86/x64 NEC USB 3.0 package, extract it, and run setup as administrator. If setup still fails, update the NEC Electronics USB 3.0 Root Hub manually in Device Manager by selecting the extracted INF.

Question 2

Device not detected / USB 3.0 ports dead?

Accepted Answer

Enable xHCI/USB 3.0 in BIOS, check front-panel USB 3.0 header and power, and try a rear port. Uninstall the root hub with “Delete driver software,” reboot, and scan for hardware changes; confirm the Hardware ID matches the NEC root hub.

Question 3

Version conflicts (Code 10/43)?

Accepted Answer

Remove older NEC USB 3.0 drivers before installing a new package, or roll back to the previous driver. Avoid mixing packages for different NEC controller versions, and reboot after uninstalling.
