Name: N900 (PC Suite Mode) Driver
Author: Nokia

Question 1

Device not detected in PC Suite Mode?

Accepted Answer

Confirm the N900 is unlocked and set to PC Suite Mode when the USB prompt appears. Use the original cable in a direct rear USB port, not a hub, then reconnect and check Device Manager for an unknown or Nokia device.

Question 2

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Run the driver installer as administrator. If an older Nokia PC Suite/Connectivity Cable Driver is present, remove it in Device Manager with hidden devices shown, reboot, then install the current package.

Question 3

Version conflicts/reconnect loops?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall old Nokia PC Suite/Ovi Suite and duplicate N900 driver entries, reboot, and install one driver set only. Do not switch between PC Suite and mass-storage mode during installation.
