Name: Mygica DT800 Driver
Author: Mygica

Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Run the Mygica DT800 setup as administrator, temporarily disable antivirus, and reboot before plugging in the USB tuner. If Windows blocks the driver, allow the signed vendor driver or check Driver Signature Enforcement.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Connect the DT800 directly to a rear USB 2.0 port, not a hub or front-panel port. Check Device Manager for an unknown device or BDA tuner, then unplug/replug after installation. Try another USB cable/PC.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older Mygica/Geniatech tuner drivers and TV software first, remove hidden devices in Device Manager, reboot, then install only the latest package. Avoid mixing a Windows Update generic driver with the vendor BDA driver.
