Install fails or rolls back?

Confirm the driver package matches the C104 PC/104 board and Windows architecture, run the installer as administrator, and remove any older Moxa multiport serial driver before retrying.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Reseat the C104 in the PC/104 stack, verify its IRQ/address jumper settings, and check that BIOS/OS resources are reserved for the legacy serial board; then rescan in Device Manager.

Version/COM port conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall previous Moxa C104 or other multiport serial drivers, reboot, install the current C104 driver, and resolve duplicate COM/IRQ assignments in Device Manager.
