Name: Motorola XT912 USB Device Driver
Author: Motorola

Question 1

Driver install fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Run the Motorola USB driver/Device Manager installer as administrator, reboot, then reconnect the XT912. If Windows blocks the package, install the current Motorola Device Manager driver instead of an older standalone package.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Use a data-capable cable and a direct USB 2.0 port. On the XT912, set USB connection to MTP or PTP; for ADB, enable USB debugging. In Device Manager, update the “Motorola XT912 USB Device” entry manually and point it to the installed Motorola driver.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall old Motorola USB/ADB drivers and remove stale entries under Device Manager, reboot, then install only one compatible Motorola driver package. Avoid mixing generic ADB drivers with Motorola drivers.
