Name: Motorola QC BP Modem Driver
Author: Motorola

Question 1

Install fails with driver signature or INF errors?

Accepted Answer

Use the Motorola/Qualcomm package matching your Windows build and architecture. Run the installer as administrator, and temporarily disable driver signature enforcement only if the package is unsigned.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Check Device Manager for unknown devices or “QC BP Modem” under Modems/Ports. Reconnect the modem, try another USB port/cable, and install the driver before plugging it in if the package requires it.

Question 3

Version conflicts or repeated reinstall?

Accepted Answer

Remove older Motorola QC BP Modem entries in Device Manager, including hidden devices, then reboot. Prevent Windows Update from replacing the driver by setting the correct version as preferred.
