Name: Motorola Phone (V3r) Driver
Author: Motorola

Question 1

Driver install fails?

Accepted Answer

The V3r uses legacy Motorola USB drivers that may be blocked on newer Windows. Run the installer as administrator, try Windows compatibility mode, and temporarily disable driver signature enforcement if the package is unsigned.

Question 2

Phone not detected?

Accepted Answer

Use a known-good data USB cable and a direct rear USB port. On the V3r, set the USB connection mode to Modem/Data rather than charging only, then reinstall the Motorola USB driver.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older Motorola Phone Tools/USB drivers first, remove unknown devices in Device Manager, reboot, then install the V3r-matched driver. Avoid mixing 32-bit and 64-bit driver packages.
