Name: MosChip PCIe to Multi Mode Parallel Port Driver
Author: MosChip

Question 1

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Reseat the card in the PCIe slot and check Device Manager for an unknown device or entry under Ports (COM & LPT). Confirm the PCIe slot is enabled in BIOS, set parallel port mode to SPP/EPP/ECP as needed, then rescan hardware.

Question 2

Install fails or no LPT port appears?

Accepted Answer

Run the MosChip installer as administrator. If it still fails, extract the driver and update manually via Device Manager by selecting the .inf file. Reboot before testing the parallel port.

Question 3

Version conflicts or Code 10/yellow bang?

Accepted Answer

Remove old MosChip or generic parallel-port drivers, including hidden devices. Uninstall conflicting printer/legacy port software, then install the latest Windows-architecture-matched MosChip package.
