Question 1

Install fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Remove any existing Kyocera TASKalfa 3051ci/KX driver entries, reboot, then run the 3051ci package as administrator. Temporarily disable antivirus and close other printer installers before retrying.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

For USB, try a direct rear port and a known-good cable. For network, confirm the MFP’s IP address and create/select the correct TCP/IP port; verify the PC can ping the TASKalfa 3051ci.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older Kyocera KX or universal drivers before installing the latest 3051ci-specific package. Avoid mixing universal and model-specific drivers, then reboot and re-add the printer.
