Name: Kyocera ECOSYS p2135dn KX Driver
Author: Kyocera

Question 1

Install fails or setup stalls?

Accepted Answer

Run the Kyocera KX Driver installer as administrator and match the Windows architecture (32/64-bit). Remove any previous Kyocera P2135dn/KX package via Print Management before reinstalling, then reboot if prompted.

Question 2

Printer not detected (USB/network)?

Accepted Answer

For USB, use a direct rear port and a known-good cable; power-cycle the P2135dn. For network, confirm the printer’s IP, ping it, and create or update a Standard TCP/IP port; reserve the IP in DHCP.

Question 3

Driver/version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

If Windows uses a generic or older Kyocera driver, delete the existing printer and driver package, then install the latest KX driver. Avoid mixing PCL/KX packages; set the new queue as default and test print.
