Name: Kyocera ECOSYS M3550idn KX Driver
Author: Kyocera

Question 1

Install fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

remove any existing Kyocera KX package, reboot, then run the M3550idn installer as administrator. Keep USB disconnected until prompted; for network installs, temporarily pause antivirus.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

verify the M3550idn has a valid IP and responds to ping. Add it manually using a Standard TCP/IP port with that IP. For USB, connect directly to the PC, not through a hub.

Question 3

Version conflicts or scan/print errors?

Accepted Answer

uninstall older Kyocera drivers and the Microsoft IPP Class Driver, then install one KX package only. Clear the print queue and restart the Print Spooler service.
