Name: Kyocera ECOSYS M2535dn KX Driver
Author: Kyocera

Question 1

Installation fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect the ECOSYS M2535dn, remove any existing Kyocera/KX driver in Print Management, run the latest KX Driver installer as administrator, and allow it through antivirus/firewall. Reconnect only when prompted.

Question 2

Device not detected (USB/network)?

Accepted Answer

For USB, use a direct port and known-good cable. For Ethernet, confirm the M2535dn has a fixed IP, ping it, and create a Standard TCP/IP port with the correct IP—not WSD.

Question 3

Driver/version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Windows may install a generic driver or keep an old KX version. Delete the printer and driver package, reboot, then install the current Kyocera KX Driver and set the correct port/default.
