Name: Kyocera CS 205c KX Driver
Author: Kyocera

Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

remove any existing Kyocera CS 205c KX driver in Print Server Properties > Drivers, run the KX installer as administrator, and match the package to Windows x64/x86.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

for USB, use a direct rear port and a known-good cable; for network, confirm the printer’s IP, create a Standard TCP/IP port, and check that SNMP or the Kyocera port monitor is enabled.

Question 3

Driver/version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

uninstall older Kyocera KX or universal drivers, restart the Print Spooler, then install one CS 205c KX package. If scanning/fax features fail, reinstall the full KX package rather than only the print driver.
