Name: Kyocera Android ADB Interface Driver
Author: Kyocera

Question 1

Driver install fails or is blocked?

Accepted Answer

Windows may reject the Kyocera ADB INF as unsigned. Temporarily disable driver signature enforcement, then install via Device Manager → Update driver → Browse → Let me pick → Have Disk and select the Kyocera Android ADB Interface INF.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Enable Developer options and USB debugging on the Kyocera phone, set USB mode to PTP/file transfer if ADB is not exposed, use a data-capable cable, and accept the RSA fingerprint prompt. Check Device Manager for an unknown device and reinstall the ADB interface driver.

Question 3

Version/conflict errors (Code 10/28)?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall existing Google/universal ADB and old Kyocera drivers, delete leftover driver packages, reboot, then install only one ADB driver matching the phone’s hardware ID.
