Name: Kvaser Leaf Light HS Driver
Author: Kvaser

Question 1

Driver install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older Kvaser Drivers/CANlib versions, run the latest Kvaser package as administrator, and reboot. Check Device Manager for a yellow warning on the Leaf Light HS.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Connect the Leaf Light HS directly to a USB port, not an unpowered hub. Confirm its LED and check Kvaser Device Guide; if absent, reinstall the Kvaser USB driver and try another cable/port.

Question 3

Version conflicts with CANlib or apps?

Accepted Answer

Remove conflicting Kvaser driver/CANlib versions, install one current package, and match the app’s 32/64-bit architecture. Verify the channel appears in Kvaser Device Guide before opening CAN tools.
