Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect the printer’s USB cable, remove any existing Konica Minolta PS/class driver in Print Management, then run the installer as administrator and reconnect when prompted. Reboot before retrying.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Use a Standard TCP/IP port with the printer’s correct IP, not WSD. Confirm the monochrome laser is online and that RAW/9100 (or LPR) is enabled; for USB, try a direct rear port and a known-good cable.

Question 3

Version conflicts / wrong driver used?

Accepted Answer

Windows may load its inbox PostScript class driver. Remove the printer and driver package, install the Konica Minolta package, then set it as default and disable automatic driver updates if it reverts.
