Question 1

Install fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect the USB cable, run the Konica Minolta setup as administrator using the correct Windows version, and connect to a direct USB 2.0 port—not a hub. Temporarily disable antivirus if setup is blocked.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Check power and cable, try another USB port, and remove any offline/unknown printer entry. Restart the print spooler (`net stop spooler`, then `net start spooler`) and reconnect. For scanning, confirm the WIA/TWAIN component is installed.

Question 3

Driver/version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall any old PagePro 1580MF printer and scanner drivers, delete leftover queues in Print Management, restart Windows, then install the latest matching 32/64-bit package. Do not mix older and newer drivers.
