Name: Konica Minolta Magicolor 2590MF Driver
Author: Konica Minolta

Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Remove existing Konica Minolta Magicolor 2590MF entries in Printers & scanners and Device Manager, then run the driver setup as administrator. Use the correct 32/64-bit Windows package; temporarily disable security software if it blocks the installer.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

For USB, use a known-good USB 2.0 cable and direct port, power-cycle the MFP, and avoid hubs. For Ethernet, confirm the printer’s IP, ping it, then add a Standard TCP/IP port and install the 2590MF driver manually.

Question 3

Driver/version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older Minolta or generic PostScript drivers, stop the Print Spooler, clear stuck jobs/spool files, restart the spooler, then reinstall the official 2590MF package. Set it as default and test print/scan.
