Name: Konica Minolta for Windows 10 64 Bit Driver
Author: Konica Minolta

Question 1

Install fails or hangs?

Accepted Answer

Run the Konica Minolta package as administrator and use the Windows 10 64-bit driver, not a generic PostScript/universal driver. Disconnect USB during a network install. If setup still fails, stop Print Spooler, remove partial Konica Minolta entries in Print Management, restart, and reinstall.

Question 2

Printer not detected?

Accepted Answer

For USB, use a direct rear port and a known-good cable. For network, confirm the MFP’s IP, create a Standard TCP/IP port, and verify ping/SNMP. For scanning, install the matching TWAIN/WIA driver and check Device Manager.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Remove older Konica Minolta printer/scanner drivers via Print Server Properties and Programs and Features, restart the spooler, then install only the current 64-bit package.
