Author: Konica Minolta

Question 1

Install fails?

Accepted Answer

Run the Konica Minolta bizhub 206 setup as administrator and remove any older Konica Minolta print drivers first. Temporarily disable antivirus if the installer is blocked, then reboot before retrying.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Confirm the bizhub 206 is powered on and connected. For USB, try a different port/cable; for network, verify the IP address and add the printer manually by IP if auto-discovery fails.

Question 3

Driver version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall existing bizhub 206 drivers via Print Management, restart the Print Spooler service, then install the correct 32/64-bit PCL6 or PS package. Avoid mixing driver types on the same queue.
