Author: Konica Minolta

Question 1

Installer fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall existing Konica Minolta 501/421/361 PS/PCL drivers via Print Management, reboot, then run the PS(V) installer as administrator. If setup still fails, use Add Printer > Have Disk and point to the extracted INF.

Question 2

Printer not detected on network?

Accepted Answer

Confirm the copier’s IP is reachable and create a standard TCP/IP port using RAW port 9100 instead of WSD. If using LPR, enable LPR in Windows Features and enter the correct queue name.

Question 3

Driver/version conflicts or wrong PostScript output?

Accepted Answer

Remove duplicate 32-bit/64-bit Konica Minolta drivers, clear stale print jobs, and install the PS(V) package matching your Windows architecture. Avoid mixing PCL and PS drivers on the same queue.
