Name: Kodak Scanner i30 Driver
Author: Kodak

Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect the i30, run the Kodak installer as administrator, and temporarily disable antivirus. If Windows blocks the package, download the latest signed driver from Kodak and reboot before retrying.

Question 2

Scanner not detected?

Accepted Answer

Use a direct USB port, not a hub. Check Device Manager for “Unknown device” or imaging errors, uninstall the entry, reconnect the i30, and confirm the scanner is powered on with the cable fully seated.

Question 3

Version conflicts after Windows updates?

Accepted Answer

Remove older Kodak scanner entries and duplicate drivers in Device Manager, install the newest i30 driver, and restart. Keep only one Kodak scan utility installed.
