Question 1

Install fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older Kodak scanner software first, run the S2070 driver installer as administrator, and reboot before reinstalling. Disable antivirus temporarily if it blocks the setup.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Use a known-good USB cable and port, confirm the scanner is powered on, then check Device Manager for unknown devices. Reinstall the Kodak S2070 TWAIN/WIA driver if Windows shows it with a warning.

Question 3

Driver version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Remove conflicting Kodak or TWAIN drivers in Programs and Features and Device Manager, then install only the latest S2070 driver matching your Windows architecture. Restart and test with Kodak Capture or Windows Fax and Scan.
