Question 1

Installer fails or stops midway?

Accepted Answer

Run the Kodak S101 driver setup as Administrator, temporarily disable antivirus, and use Windows Compatibility Mode if the package was built for an older Windows version. Restart before retrying.

Question 2

Webcam not detected?

Accepted Answer

Connect the S101 directly to a powered USB 2.0 port, not a hub. Check Device Manager under “Imaging devices” or “Cameras”; if it shows an error, uninstall the device entry and rescan for hardware.

Question 3

Driver or software version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older Kodak webcam drivers and third-party camera apps, restart, then install the S101 driver. In Windows Settings, confirm the S101 is selected as the default camera and allow camera access for the app you are using.
