Author: Kodak

Question 1

Install fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect the scanner’s USB cable until the installer prompts, close any Kodak AiO/scan utilities, run the driver setup as administrator, and reboot before retrying.

Question 2

Scanner not detected?

Accepted Answer

Use a direct USB port (not a hub), confirm the Kodak OFFICE HERO 6.1 is powered and awake, then check Device Manager for an unknown/WIA/TWAIN device. Reinstall the driver and test with Windows Scan or Kodak software.

Question 3

Driver/version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older Kodak AiO and scanner entries, remove duplicate WIA/TWAIN devices in Device Manager, reboot, and install the correct 32-/64-bit driver for your Windows version.
