Name: Kodak ML500 Digital Printer Driver
Author: Kodak

Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect the ML500, run the driver package as administrator, and temporarily disable antivirus. Remove any older Kodak printer software, reboot, then reinstall.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Connect the ML500 directly to a USB port (not a hub), try a known-good cable, and power it on before opening Devices and Printers. Check Device Manager for warning icons; if present, update the driver manually.

Question 3

Version conflicts or duplicate queues?

Accepted Answer

Remove old Kodak ML500 entries in Printers & scanners and Device Manager, then reinstall the driver matching your Windows version. Restart the print spooler and set the new queue as default.
