Question 1

Install fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect the Kodak HERO 5.1 AiO XPS USB cable until the installer prompts, run the setup as administrator, and temporarily disable antivirus. Remove any partial Kodak installation before retrying.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Check the printer is powered on and connected to a working USB port directly, not through a hub. Restart the Print Spooler service, then reconnect the cable. For scanning issues, confirm the Kodak AiO scanner driver is installed.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older Kodak HERO 5.1 AiO XPS software and drivers via Programs and Features and Device Manager, reboot, then install the correct Windows-compatible driver package. Avoid mixing XPS print and scan drivers from different releases.
